Construction is underway for the 3rd & 3rd apartment tower in St. Petersburg, with the foundation pour set to begin on January 24th. This ambitious project will feature 33 stories, 262 apartment units, and various amenities including a pool, gym, and retail space, making it a valuable addition to the downtown area.
St. Petersburg is buzzing with excitement as construction advances for the much-anticipated 3rd & 3rd apartment tower! KAST Construction is gearing up to start pouring the foundation for this stunning 33-story structure, and mark your calendars because the action kicks off on Friday, January 24th, at 8:00 p.m.
Now, this isn’t just any foundation pour—this is set to be one of the largest ever completed in St. Petersburg! The main core mat foundation will require a jaw-dropping 4,000 cubic yards of concrete and will take about 12 to 14 hours to complete. To transport all that concrete, the project will be mobilizing between 380 to 420 concrete trucks. Drivers will be busy navigating the streets of downtown to ensure everything is in place for this major milestone.
The construction site is conveniently located at 235 3rd Street South, right at the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and 3rd Street. It’s a prime location in the heart of the city, making it an attractive choice for future residents who want easy access to all that St. Pete has to offer.
Once completed, the 3rd & 3rd tower will house an impressive 262 apartment units that vary from cozy studios to lavish two-story penthouses. Residents can look forward to high-end finishes and top-notch appliances, ensuring that comfort and style go hand-in-hand.

The expected move-in dates for the first residents are set for the third quarter of 2026, so there’s plenty of time for prospective tenants to get excited!
