The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) has elected Dan Saracki as its new chair, marking a historic milestone for North Pinellas County. Saracki, a board member since 2019, has been instrumental in advancing public transportation initiatives, including the launch of the SunRunner Bus-Rapid-Transit line. Under his leadership in 2023, PSTA was honored with the American Public Transportation Association’s Transit System of the Year award. Additionally, Deborah Figgs-Sanders and Tom Reid have been named vice-chair and Secretary/Treasurer, respectively, bringing fresh perspectives to the board.
