News Summary

Perry’s Porch has officially opened its doors in St. Petersburg, bringing a fresh coastal dining experience to the waterfront. After years of anticipation, this charming restaurant offers 80% outdoor seating and a menu celebrating coastal Florida cuisine. Designed as a tribute to Commodore C. Perry Snell, Perry’s Porch features inviting decor and a diverse menu of seafood dishes and inventive cocktails. Open daily with a capacity for both outdoor and intimate indoor dining, it’s poised to become a local favorite.

Welcome to St. Pete’s New Culinary Gem: Perry’s Porch!

St. Petersburg just got a delicious upgrade with the grand opening of Perry’s Porch, which welcomed its first guests on February 12, 2025. Nestled along the picturesque downtown waterfront and near the St. Pete Pier, this charming spot boasts a menu that’s nothing short of coastal magic. After approximately three and a half years filled with delays due to permitting and construction hiccups, the wait is finally over, and locals couldn’t be happier!

A Vision Brought to Life

Perry’s Porch isn’t just any restaurant; it’s a heartfelt tribute to Commodore “C.” Perry Snell, a key land developer from the early 20th century in St. Pete. The team at Seed & Feed Hospitality, those talented folks behind the beloved Mandarin Hide and Trophy Fish, brings this dream to life. The architecture, designed by WJ Architects, fuses effortlessly with charming interior touches curated by co-owners Ryan Griffin and Blake Thompson, ensuring visitors feel right at home whether inside or out.

Dine with a View

One of the standout features of Perry’s Porch is its dedication to outdoor seating, with a whopping 80% of the restaurant’s seating available outside. Imagine enjoying your meal on a spacious patio, sipping a cocktail while lounging in comfortable Adirondack chairs that overlook the tranquil waters. Guests can also choose from not one but two outdoor bars—perfect for a sunny day in Florida!

For those who prefer a cozier vibe, the indoor area accommodates around 25 guests, decorated with chic gold and wicker accents along with colorful paintings that add a vibrant touch to the ambiance.

A Taste of Coastal Florida

The menu at Perry’s Porch is a delightful blend of coastal Florida cuisine with a loving nod to Old Florida classics. Start your meal with enticing appetizers like the chargrilled octopus for $30 or crispy-fried artichokes at $16. The menu also features a fresh baby Bibb and frisee salad at $18 and a zesty Key West pink shrimp cocktail for $21.

When it comes to larger entrees, you’re in for a treat. You can indulge in the delectable Chicken Francaise or bucatini with bolognese sauce, both priced at $25. Meat lovers can opt for a succulent filet at $65, which promises to be the star of the show.

Sweet Endings

No meal is complete without dessert! Satisfy your sweet tooth with seasonal gelatos or the light lemon tiramisu for just $13—a perfect way to wrap up your dining experience.

Raise a Glass!

Perry’s Porch doesn’t skimp on the drinks either. The cocktail menu features creative mixes inspired by St. Pete’s rich history, making it a fun addition to your meal. Items like the Pink Streets Margarita for $15.50 and Jungle Prada for $16 are sure to impress and quench your thirst!

Plan Your Visit!

Open daily from 7 a.m. until around 10 or 11 p.m. on weekends, Perry’s Porch is ready to welcome hungry patrons with open arms. Given the restaurant’s popularity, reservations are highly recommended and can easily be made through their website. If you’re looking to experience the best of St. Pete’s dining scene, swing by Perry’s Porch at 335 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg, Florida. You won’t regret it!
